Staffs are great, friendly and helpful. Food is good, delicious. Our room was in a good location, not too far from the beach. However there are not enough beach chairs for number of customers to enjoy sunbathing on the beach, people got up early to put the towel on the beach chair to reserve their chairs.

Very typical Koh Samed accommodation. When you show up everything seems great and beautiful, but the longer you stay, the more you realize it’s a typical budget island resort. On first look, the rooms seem great(garden view room), but after the first night there are ants, then the toilet clogs repeatedly, and the fridge is exceedingly loud. The free breakfast was awesome, really enjoyed the selection and the espresso machine. They have kayaks and snorkeling gear for free use. The private beach is quiet and very comfortable. The restaurant food is wonderful, however the wait can be exceeding long depending on how many customers are there. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and I would say, for the price, we did feel like it was a good value, while booking on 1 days notice. Also, the resort has quite a few resident cats, which we happened to see as a perk. Cool cats, especially Seymour, the breakfast cat. (Pictured)

The beach was quiet and lovely and the property felt safe and welcoming. The location felt authentic and all the staff were very friendly, attentive and kind. I felt like I was part of a nice community. The breakfast was very good and the food at the hotel restaurant was incredible! Best curries and som tam I've had in Thailand!!! There are some stray animals walking around the beach area (dogs and kittens) so if you don't like animals you might not like that. Overall I felt very welcome and enjoyed my relaxing time here. The restaurant on the beach right next to the hotel is also owned by a really friendly family and they make great Thai iced tea. Loved the experience!

This was my third visit to your lovely hotel in only a few months. During the last two visits I stayed in Hillside bungalow which I love. The bungalow has everything you need and with comfy beds and good working aircon. All the staff that I have met are professional, helpful and very friendly which makes me feel more at home. The beach bar makes good cocktails, and it is nice to "chill" on the beach around sunset (even if you cannot see it! :-)) and enjoy cocktails. Normally I do not eat breakfast. However, I think the breakfast menu is ok. It has the essential food (European) bread, butter, jam, cereals, yoghurt, egg-station, etc. albeit my favorite is the noodle soup or the congee. I know I will return to Ao Cho Grandview Hideaway Resort for my next visit to Koh Samet.

I've been visiting this hotel for 4 times and I still can count on the service and how clean the hotel is. Excellent internet speed I'd like to give a shout out the staff, especially the bartender guy. He deserves the best staff award. He has been taking care of us since early morning all the way through drink service at night.

Not sure who is giving high ratings but the experience was terrible, hard to get to, pretty basic rooms. Everything is over priced and they’re counting every penny. Construction noise and dust everywhere, internet wasn’t available for days, and overall pretty poor experience and won’t be returning.

Hotel doing renovations over season so constant noise... Restaurant a complete rip off, service shocking.. 4 meals ordered.. 1 arrived and finished, 2nd arrived and 3rd half way through... 3rd meal sent back as it was rubber... Replacement meal arrived and still waiting on 4th person dinner... Wow.... Nobody wants to serve the table... 2nd time here after an amazing trip last year... But wow it has gone to the birds..... So sad... Rather go stay next door...
